New Mexico Tourism Department Visitor Centers — Attraction in Lordsburg

After several hours of driving I thought it would be cool to walk around this building with my puppy who was tired of being in the car too. A lady came running from inside: "we don't allow dogs here!" And she made gestures meaning no where around the building (outside) I thought it was very rude to chase us away like that. Not a very welcoming...

I visited here in mid November 2025. Google Maps is saying it is closed, but it was very much open when I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon. I went into the tourist information building and picked up some tourist information. There was a nice lady sitting at the tourist information desk who asked me to sign the guest book, so I did. I was there....

Clean and Safe to stop overnight with RV....However there was a Trucker than Idle his Diesel Tractor all night down wind from all the RVs and other Trucks and Smoked Out the entire parking lot .....not sure why he did this as it was a Beautiful 55•F night 🌙 in May ....all the other truckers and RVs shut off there Engines and...
