I really enjoyed it. The hike was long and exhausting but so worth it once you see the incredible life house and Puget sound view.
I like that in the summer they have a shuttle that will drive you to and from the light house for those that need it. We did the whole hike, but it was an option.
The scenery was beautiful. I did find the trail signs a little difficult to navigate but overall, a great experience. It was invigorating and refreshing to take this hike!

Read moreMost people aren't talking about the actual rangers station/auditorium at the park entrance. The ranger station is the "original " building from the old days. The visitor center has a little diorama set up that is cute if decade's old. There is a shaded picnic area with benches in the center. There used to he a soda machine there but they took it away. I'm not sure what the point of the auditorium is, I've been running through the park for years now and never seen it open or heard of it hosting any event. There is a bathroom in the room with the dioramas. I've never seen anyone come into or out of the ranger station and I don't believe anyone is in there...

What can I say, it's simply beautiful and there's so much to do, Shakespeare at the Park during the summer, the bird aviary, the L.A. Zoo, the Audrey museum..... just so much. Or just enjoy the trails, walk around, enjoy nature, everything about this Park is just breathtaking. If you go early, you can enjoy nature in its simplest, purest form.
