Read moreIt's not much of a actual Park. It's sort of a hybrid between going to a river up in an actual Park but isn't an actual Park setting only mainly for the river isn't what you would expect a river to look and feel like since the basin is made out of concrete and was constructed by the US Army Corp of Engineers. But if you were to ignore that fact of concrete being it's basin, then you would see the river as it could be. But to name it a park would be wrong. I recommend visiting early in the morning through the late afternoon but not later when it starts getting dark. There are coyotes in the brush so if you have a small dog, be vigilante.
There are also ducks and cranes but also lots of homeless people whose tents stand alongside the bicycle and bicycle and...
