This specific location, IMHO, is not the best location to get a scenic view of the city.. I can’t speak to any sunset pics (some of the others posted here are beautiful) but this SPECIFIC spot is just a bend in the road with three maybe four parking spaces. There is a spot lower down Mulholland called Universal City Overlook that, again IMHO, gives a much better view of the city… we were there at dusk and watching the city “light up” was much more satisfying… plus there is more designated parking. The drive up to these locations is best suited for drivers who know how big their vehicles are and don’t mind steep tight...

There isn't much to say here. The photos tell the story. The drive up, back down and around Mulholland and Laurel Canyon is worth the effort alone. Disclaimer:. We went on a Monday and I would be shocked if parking isn't a problem on the weekends. There are however several pull over spots on the drive to the two primary overlook spots and even if you can't find a spot the drive is such that circling back multiple times isn't a downer. It's a picturesque section...
