The Ross at Vermont location opened up stocked with new, good merchandise. Like Kmart that used to be there, it did the same thing, sent the better merchandise to higher income neighborhoods. Prices are the same but more concerned with the people's attitudes and reviews at these locations than lower income neighborhoods. People who live in lower income places always have to go "OUT" of the neighborhood to eat and shop. They will not open up their mouths to complain, they say nothing, just accept bad treatment. Why, guess programmed from depression to do nothing, passed down from generations. Calling it like it "tis." So Ross, the stores have good stuff, I love to shop there, it's my 2nd home, hehe. I have some amazing 1 of a kind finds. However, the downside (to some people) is the constant Racks of clothes, tightly stuffed together. Take out a hanger, clothes keep falling off hangers. People will just stuff back into racks. When I see this, I tell the clerks working in there., they usually stop and go get. A lot of people won't shop like this or take the time to look. The room in aisles can be close and folks with baby carriages and 3 kids push them through. Why they bring them knowing ahead Ross stores like this is a mystery, they just don't care. I will only move over once, see them coming, purposely look at them, then go back to clothes racks, they get the msg. They know this before they even leave the house, this is a problem they are creating, and some folks might not cooperate with all that moving over in those tight aisles. you get tired of all that. You already know ahead of time that Ross Stores designed this way. So the best way to shop at Ross is when they open at 9 am or when they about to close by 8 pm. The 9 am time is good for browsing, the 8 pm time, you gotta know what you are coming in...

When clearly I was charged for them on the receipt they said that there was an error with the code then they proceeded to falsley accused me of stealing them they told me to wait just for them to take the socks and did not refund me nor allowed to exchange them and went to put them back on the shelfs to re-sell them I asked to speak to the manager to check the cameras and they lied saying I did not pay but they saw the cashier bag my items why would they bag my stuff if I did not pay how do I have this receipt if I did not pay for my merchandise? Ā Ā Ā Read moreRoss is a great store and the employees seem nice but I wanted to warn people about one of the 'protective services' guards there(NOT the security guards in black, they're nice people). The first time we tried going into ross, the security guard kicked me and my dad out since we had some bags which I thought made sense because of the amount of bags we had. He then followed us outside and kept asking us personal questions which was unprofessional of him but I just let that go. But today he tried to kick my parents and sister out because they had some coffee in the sitting area, and he said 'no food allowed, so you guys should just leave' meanwhile he didn't say anything to the other people eating there. I started to notice how he always tries to intimidate me and my family whenever we go into ross or dd's so please be careful going there! especially if you're Hispanic...
