SEPULVEDA BASIN SPORTS COMPLEX — Attraction in Los Angeles

I've Rated This Complex Before and 1 Star Was Given Then As It Is Now...After Too Many Phone Calls/E Mails/Meetings To and With The City/Park Supervisors Over The Last 8 Months Or More About The Softball Field Conditions, The Bandaid Has Worn Off And The Too Many Gophers/ Unknown Animals Have Taken Over Again.....I Was At Basin Today For New Player Senior Softball Assessment and They Didn't Have The Decency To Drag The Field...Once Again Guys Check Out Ventura County Parks/Fields....It's So Worth The Drive....Your Grade Is A Solid Fail.....Attached Are Photos Of The Outfield and Equipment...

This is a very nice facility. I was quite surprised how neat and clean it was, especially for a city of Los Angeles owned facility. The soccer field was immaculate. The bleachers were in New condition and it even has a "team" bench. The bathrooms were a little icky, but then again I have yet to see any park bathrooms that weren't. They were the stainless steel "prison-type" toilets with no seats. Other than that it is a first class...

I visit the Sr. Softball League... it's really fun and men and women are welcome to play... You have to try out and each team has a manager and they play each other in a series. Unfortunately he's gone now but Gary Marshall used to pitch on one of the senior baseball teams and they were good. There was some talk about remaining that whole field for Gary Marshall and after all the great films he came out with I think they...
