Taqueria Juanitos — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Can't remember a time when I had a more disappointing burrito or taqueria experience. With all the other positive reviews garnered here I'm curious what other people happen to be ordering here, or how much worse other area taquerias are.

First of all, for 12 bucks, the everything burrito is embarrassingly tiny. I initially thought they gave me just a rice and bean burrito, but no. However, a majority of the burrito was in fact rice and (refried) beans. This might have been the tiniest burrito I have ever had in my life, and I've had a lot of burritos.

The asada also was disappointing. It lacked any sort of flavor and was actually just shredded beef. I wouldn't have ordered it if that were more clear on the menu.

The cheese was unmelted and cold.

I paid an extra buck for sour cream but there was only a microscopic amount. I don't mind paying extra, but don't go and pull something like that.

The 6 (six) tortilla chips they put in a baggie with to go orders sums up well the chintzy nature of this establishment. I would have rather had none at all.

Wow! The burritos here are SO good, especially the breakfast burrito. We've tried a lot of local places as we moved to SFV a year ago and this is our favorite so far.

Tried: Everything asada burrito - doesn't look special when you cut into a cross section but the flavors of the meat is so well done it carries the burrito. Only small amounts of cilantro and onion and avocado but it really celebrates the asada Breakfast burrito with bacon - probably best breakfast burrito we've ever had. It has rice which is different than other places but everything is mixed together so well and flavorful asada Torta - perfect ratio of bread vs. Meat -asada fries - great flavor, love the salsa, cheese and avocados on top

Will be back for...

I finally tried this place and it was 🔥 The carne asada burrito was so good. It's huge and so flavorful. I love the different combinations you can try. I also tried the fish taco and it was also really good. I could have eaten like 5 of them. There were so many things I wanted to try!! Oh and they also have vegetarian options. Which looked really good too. The customer service was amazing. The girl upfront was so nice and welcoming. The cook was cool too. I really like the way they treated customers. Super friendly and down to earth. If you're in the area give it a try! I'll definitely be...
