Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA — Attraction in Los Angeles

Staff is super nice. It’s a bit small and I wish they would change the water bottle refill station’s filter a bit quicker, but it’s pretty great. A nice pool that isn’t very deep but is pretty big. There are men’s, women’s and family changing rooms. There is an aerobics room where they have classes, a stretching room (bring your own yoga mat because theirs are all old and tattered) and a weight room that also has a lot of cardio machines and an actual room with all cardio machines, a bunker for extra classes and next to that is the childcare area. There are a lot of people at different levels of fitness so it isn’t intimidating to work out here. They are affiliated with a school next door so during the school year sometimes the locker room can suddenly become packed with kids if you come during...

Poor customer service, one of the worse, they all seem to be working they by force, if is a voluntary work, they suck. They always talking to each other , their conversation seems to be more important than the members, They all misinformed or know nothing about the programs, or how it works. Day care lady the short chubby one always staring at the window, just looking to the gym while the other lady do all the work, she need better training or another job. Karate floor is always dusty is share with the cycling class, Stretching room is a mess, room is use for folkloric classes, The equipment are poor taking care, missing cup holder, stinky place, poor management in all areas. Too crowded, hand sanitizer mounted on the wall is always BROKEN, you gotta go up to the front to ask them to provide a spray bottle so u can clean the machine ur about to use or finished using. Starting May 2024, the gym fee will GO UP $5 and THIS GYM IS NOT EVEN OPEN ON SUNDAYS. Plus on weekdays, you have a lot of high school students still wearing their uniforms just sitting on machines NOT USING THEM scrolling on their phones. God forbid you ask them for the machine cuz they’ll say no & they’re so into their workout, it’s more of a DAYCARE CENTER on weekdays. OH AND THEY ONLY HAVE ONE MACHINE OF EACH, SO U BETTER GET...
