Charlie Vettiner Park — Attraction in Louisville

We were setting up the place in the morning and a cuban guy came he was the cleaning park service. He cleaned the garbage he asked us if we wanted to be blow out the leaves and very kind and helpful. That was the highlight but later on I panicked very badly because at one point I was by myself at the park and I saw a Black car passing by slowly and looking at where I was. I kept looking at where he went and he always was at my sight. He came back I kept looking at him and he came back to where I was more fast so I took my keys and ran to my car he stopped in front of me but it was too late I was faster than him so he noticed that I was aware of what he was trying to do and kept driving fast and left the park off. I called my husband and he went to accompanied me after that. It was Soooooo crazyyy please don't go by yourself it is so pretty the park and clean well the bathroom were unbearable so nasty and smelly but we had a good time. Just don't be alone it...

The golf course is amazing. Gorgeous, hilly, with a river that runs through it. FUN course! Super challenging. Can't wait to play it again! We went on Tuesday Aug 3 with a 6:08 tee time. My only complaint is the golfers behind us didn't wait for their tee time, teeing off on top of us, then jumping over us when we were on hole 2 without asking if they could, even though they were playing much slower. We ended up on top of them at every hole. At hole 4, we were walking into the tee box as they were just getting off the box! while the next group behind clearly didn't wait for their tee time either and hit into us on every hole though they should have been at least two holes behind us. This is an amazing place to visit. I highly recommend going to this park as my family had such a memorable experience. The slides were so gentle and the children glided down them without busting their head on the concrete. The dogs had so much room to run around and play ball and they were able to find big sticks in the nearby forest as well. This park even had a splash pad where the kiddos were able to splash around and have a good time. I do not think that there is a better park out there unless you are trying to find one that is not so family friendly, or safe.
