Oxbow is one of my favorite open spaces in Loveland. It is quiet and peaceful and I have seen a lot of wildlife there, including deer, hummingbirds, wild turkeys and fireflies. It is a great place for a short hike or bike ride, and a great starting point for riding on the Loveland Recreational Trail loop.
Some of the other reviews have outdated or incorrect information. Parking is 100% free at the trailhead and new parking spots have been added along Rossum Rd. There is also a restroom and two bike racks, as well as a bike repair stand with tools.
There are two sides to the natural area, one on each side of Rossum that are great for hiking, and mountain biking is allowed on some of the trails. There are also picnic areas including two picnic tables. Dogs are...
