Blue Stone — Local services in Four Corners States

I stopped in yesterday on my way back from Estes Park. They are in a very convenient location on Highway 34. The outside was cute and inviting. There were a few geodes outside to start your shopping. When you walk inside, you see so many beautiful treasures. To the right, there are several options to place or hang in your home. In front of you there is a big selection of smaller individual rocks continuing into the back room where there are also beads and some larger bags of rocks. Also in the front room, there is a large selection of jewelry to choose from. You can continue into the room on the left to see more beautiful treasures. They allowed me to bring my dogs in, which was very much appreciated because it was a hot day. This is a very good ship with friendly knowledge people. They took the time to talk to me about what locations in Colorado you could find some different rocks. I enjoyed the visit and will definitely stop in again. It's a really cool shop. I love that do wire wrapping and geode cracking. But I have to say that the staff isn't super friendly. I've tried starting conversations with a couple of them at checkout. But they just gave me very short answer or comments. I know when I come in I say I'm just looking. But that doesn't necessarily mean I want to be completely ignored. I've even tried starting a conversation when I first walk but with no success. And both times I've walked in , the store had maybe 1 or 2 people in at most. So it wasn't like they were super busy. In fact they were just standing around doing nothing and not paying attention to customers. When I go into a crystal shop. I want to feel welcomed and have a overall positive vibe. I also like to learn about some of the crystals that I may have picked. I also think their crystals are way over priced. I don't think I will be returning. Which is a shame because the is less then 10 minutes from my house. But I'd rather go the extra 25 minutes...

Great vibes here. They have a wonderful selection with so much to choose from. Polished and natural stones, beautiful crystal clusters & a wide selection of obelisk. So many things!! Salt lamps, geodes that can be cracked in the store, extensive selection of gorgeous jewelry, loose stones ready for custom jewelry design, colorful artwork for your walls, crystal reference books and more. Ask for their Ancient Healing Stones reference pamphlet to get you started if you're new to Crystal Healing. Oh, and THE STAFF!! They were so wonderful and knowledgeable. We were in there over an hour. They let us browse a bit first while we ooohed and aahhhed, made sure to offer help and checked in a few times. No pushy vibes at all, very laid back. The clerk was helpful with identifying some unusual stones. The prices are good for the quality. Love LOVE this place. Will become a regular stop for us....
