I absolutely love this park. I just discovered it and checked it out for the first time. It does have a cute little playground for little ones to play on if that's what you want. But it also has the coolest pedestrian bridge to walk across. It goes across the water you have little sister Island and big sister Island there, it has benches to sit on on the bridge if you would like to. The views are very very pretty. There are paths you can take a walk on and they're full of foliage and flowers and trees. When we were there it was rather quiet and we only saw a few people. It was very peaceful. On our way out there were a lot more people coming in but it was still incredibly pleasant. Lots of people were out there walking their dogs. They have several signs along the walking paths that give you great history of the area. As the Fall colors come in we will definitely be going there...

There is also a boat launch and very nice smooth paved walking trails that loop around the park through open areas and beautiful woodlands. There is also an underrated wooden framed pedestrian bridge that is very large scale and breathtaking that crosses the Grand River. My granddaughter loves walking on the wooden bridge. There is usually a nice sunset views from the bridge. If you visit on the right time of the year you can watch the moon rise on the river.
