Mario’s Furniture — Attraction in Lowell

I spent a lot of money on a mattress here and completely regret it. I was deciding between two mattresses — the Therapedic Iris Therawrap 2 Ultra Plush for $850 and the Blackbird Plush for $650. In the store, the Ultra Plush felt way more comfortable, so I decided to splurge. I understood beds are a little firmer when brand new — the salesperson told me that — but when the mattresses arrived, the $650 bed felt much softer right away.

I tried sleeping on my $850 bed the first night and it was awful. It was uncomfortable, hurt my back, and felt nothing like what I tested in the store. I compared it again to the cheaper bed we also bought, and there was no question — the $650 mattress was way softer and more comfortable.

When I called the store, the response was basically, “too bad.” They told me it’s store policy that they don’t do anything about comfort issues. No real help, no care that I just spent more money for a worse mattress. It’s incredibly misleading to label this mattress as “Ultra Plush” when it’s clearly firmer than their regular Plush mattress.

I’m so mad I spent more money for a worse product. Even adding a mattress pad didn’t help, it’s still uncomfortable. I’ll probably end up tossing this mattress and buying from somewhere else. I also recommended someone else to buy from them during this trip, and this is how they treat customers.

I will never shop here again, and I’ll make sure nobody I know...

Good service and does have many sets to look at. What is not there you can always order off the catalog but appears as if they have all the options physically there. Their sets look identical to Ashley’s Furniture. Price point is about the same. Took only a week of maybe less to get two bedroom sets. There are two floors and there were a few kids furniture and living room set. We also had them install and the guys were great and quick.
