When I'm not at the beach I go to Fort Hill and soak up the sun, love getting a tan,I sit in my beach chair and listen to the Oldies on my phone.Fort Hill is a very well kept place very clean and the grounds keeper who keeps Fort Hill immaculate takes a lot of pride in his work.to the grounds keeper keep up the excellent work you do there.

This is a really cool flat(ish) park. The hill part is closed to cars but is a great quick hike or hill sprints route. You won't get a decent view through the trees at the top, even in winter but it's worth a wander through the trails around the top. A perfect spot for peeping some leaves

Great for walking, running and light hiking. You can walk up to the summit of the hill via a paved road, or use the multiple trails. Great for bird watching.

This is a great place for a nice walk with your dog. Their are other people that walk their dogs as well. Be careful of some dog owners whom walk their dogs off leash. So, if your a bit uneasy just be prepared for that. Also, there is a house that has two brown dogs that are a bit vocal when they are in the yard and the run back and forth if you happen to walk your dog by it. They seem harmless, however, I am just a bit apprehensive because I do not know if they can jump over the fence. My dog enjoys going there because in the winter time we are unable to walk up the hill due to the snow so when it becomes Springtime he gets happy we are able to go...

This is a great park. It's one of the only areas of Lowell where you can actually "climb" a hill, although with all the trees in summer you won't get much of a view ;) You can catch glimpses of the mountains of New Hampshire if yoou're lucky though. The park is about 35 acres, 22 of which are wooded, meaning unkept. There are some awesome old gnarly trees growing in there, and lots of birch and maple I think. It's a great palce to get away from "the city" and be in nature for awhile. I didn't see any facilities like playgrounds or bathrooms, so if you bring kids, make 'em pee ahead of time, and bring some toys...

very unpleasant to see that the area of the green zones is totally contaminated with dog excrement. Many people use this area to train their pets or to rest with their animals and they do not collect their waste. the surroundings of the stage for spectacles is a minefield of excrement. This area is used by families with small children for their games, but you are always stepping on dog poop anywhere. You can no longer play freely without fear of stepping on...
