Trolley Pizza — Restaurant in Lowell

I ordered pickup so can't speak too much on service and atmosphere. Nothing majorly bad, nothing great either. My biggest quam is the food.

I used to work at Trolley back in 96-98, when it was under different management and located on Gorham St. My family and I were in love with their Fire Down Below.

Someone recently mentioned there was a Trolley shop still open and they had Fire Down Below, so I had to try it one night. Opened the box and instantly regretted paying $30 dollars for it. It looked like they were running out of ingredients and trying to just get through the night (I wish I can post a pic but I can't seem to find an option). It's nowhere near spicy and just as lackluster as a basic pizza. First and last...

Great Brazilian take on pizza! The plain cheese pizza is good but go for a special pizza here. We've been twice now each time ordering a cheese and a special. First time we tried the x-tudo pizza. It's $30 for a large but it comes loaded to the brim! Hamburg, ham, bacon, corn, hard boiled egg and potato sticks to to it off. We had the jolly rancher chicken the second time. Ranch sauce, grilled chicken, tomato, basil and parmesan. That pizza was a little over $20. But a cheese is a reasonable $15. They have a lot of other items to zoom grilled skewers to burgers and salads. They have a great selection of sweet (dessert) pizzas. Definitely...

Pizza was just pizza. We did not order anything too crazy, just a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. The dough was actually quite good. We also ordered a large fried dough bites. I would definitely go with a small next time. There were a ton! We only ate about 1/4. I will probably go back to try one of their crazy pizzas! (Fruit, candy, you name it! Whoa!!) It did take a bit for the pizza to be ready, considering we ordered on a Monday night, and there was no one else there, but hey, food needs to be cooked... Price is a little high, but the portion sizes...
