I frequent libraries for my young children, and this one is easily my least favorite of the lehigh valley library cooperative. Top of my list of complaints is that there's a tablet right at the entry of the kids' section. All of my children are under 5 years old and expectedly don't listen the first time. So try as I may to instruct them away from it, they always run to it. I do not take my young children to a library to have them be on a tablet! Good grief. Second, the toys are just about the most disgusting set of toys I've seen at a library. I don't think they've ever been cleaned in any capacity. Third, library visits for us often look like me, the parent, browsing titles to take home while the kids play. The setup at this library is not at all conducive to this task. They have bigger kid titles, chapter books, novels, and reference right by the play/toy area. Meanwhile, the picture books for younger kids stretch back into a hallway. Read moreWao, I am very impressed about this Great Public Library. They have programs for all ages. Specialist for Todler . The have a class for 2 year old. They do exercises and stretching. It is a relaxing sections specially for them. This activities start at 10:00 . Then they have a program for reading. It is fabulous . The Staff is very sweet and kind. They help you in anything.
