Highly upset. Jessica DiJulio talks over her patients and does not know her own patients medication histories.
I take my sister to this location to see Jessica DiJulio. Every single time we are at the appointment, the assistants and Jessica DiJulio do NOT know what medications my sister is using but yet she prescribed it like 5 appointments ago... My sister has been using the same ONE ointment since then. (not to mention she goes every 3 months). We have to correct 2 people every visit. Jessica DiJulio walks into every appointment talking about pills and creams my sister NEVER EVEN USED as they were told multiple times.
But don't get me started on how Jessica DiJulio talks over her patients. After all the confusion from Jessica DiJulio not knowing what my sister uses and trying to prescribe 2 more things we don't need. My sister and I both tried asking questions multiple times and Jessica DiJulio completely ignores us and acts like we didn't say anything. Even when she stopped talking and the room was quiet I said "hello?" because she ignored me 2 times asking what instructions my sister is to follow. She AGAIN didn't even look my way as if no words came out of my mouth. Then she turns around and continues talking about some medicines disregarding anything I asked. So this time I was very upset and said "HELLO! Can I say something??" Then I finally got her attention for 2 seconds to ask my question. My sister then tired to ask a question too and AGAIN WAS IGNORED. So I spoke up and said to my sister "Ignore her, just ask your question"(while Jessica DiJulio was continuing to talk over us). This is very unprofessional, confusing and upsetting. How can a patient understand the instructions and trust what she is to now be prescribed when we are ignored and her information is never correct.
Thank God she isn’t prescribing any serious medications—who knows what could happen. She wouldn’t even acknowledge us dying in front of her if we were asking for help..
Discussed with her yet again. No more.
The front desk and the assistants are very pleasant but NOT...
Read moreI’m fairly surprised by the reviews and how high they are. My experience was not great. My initial impression of the intake area was basically “this place is dirty” and the office staff was obviously not coping well. My initial dermatologist was great, she was super nice, communicated well, and just overall professional. During my surgery, the surgeon asked me what I do for a living and I told him I was retail management. His response was pretty condescending, which set my tone for the rest of my dealings. After receiving my bill, I started making monthly payments and reached out regarding the expectation and was told as long as you’re paying “something” they cannot put you into collections. I set my account to pay out a super low amount each month, I know it’s not what they approve of because they put my bill into collections. Still cashing my monthly checks though. called in and expressed to them how I was told that they could not do that as long as I was paying and they stated that they would agree to a payment plan and I would be receiving something in the mail to sign. It’s been two months and I just received another call that they were putting my bill into collections because we agreed to a payment plan. I never receiving the letter to sign, that she originally said she was sending. It’s a complete mess. I heard billing staff responses like “that decision is above my pay grade” and “we do not have record of that call” (after already establishing I called and spoke to someone). Maybe, if your billing staff was nicer and had less attitude towards people they’d like to get more money from…. They’d get results. I pay my bills, most of them in advance. This one, I’m...
Read moreThis is a challenge to rate, while the PA and Drs at Macungie were good, the rest of the experience was unprofessional to say the least. I had a biopsy taken and when I hadn't heard back in 8 days, attempted to call for results, call backs promised never occurred, I stopped in for the results. I was met by a scripted answer by the staff at the desk, only medical staff could provide results, and they were not available. I eventually asked to speak to the manager and was told there was none. I persisted and was told I could wait. After some time (for identification purposes --a large in height and girth woman with Hispanic features and accent) came to speak with me in the waiting area. She repeated they have 2 days to provide results. I again said it was over a week ago and wanted them now. This escalated into a literal shouting match in the waiting area with her repeating 2 days I began to shout asking how long she had them. Only after I stood up and used more aggressive body language, I am over 6' and a weight lifter in my youth, did she go to get someone to help me. It seemed she thought she could bully me, when someone wants to know if they have CA you need to be foolish to think things would not escalate. After 2 extraction procedures (I am not happy the 2nd was needed after being charged full price ... "sometimes happens" or sloppy or up-selling?) the stitches of the 2nd extraction were not all removed. I was so frustrated I removed them myself knowing full well they would charge me to correct...
