I went to the park to attend a Wheels of Time car show. Although not everyone would be into something like that I have the most appreciative memory of the day. I grew up in Southern California. I spent the last 20 years in Phoenix, Arizona. I moved to South Jersey a year ago because I love the place, my in-laws are here all the good stuff. I decide I'm going to drive out to this car show. It's only 70 mi from where I live, and I drove through the most beautiful little villages on a two-lane country road where you didn't do more than 20 mph because you didn't know what was around the bend. Again I'm from the Southwest so I'm going through old growth woods, I'm saying villages that are at least 300 years old, rolling fields with crops, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced in our country. And believe me this was the country. I get to the car show at macungie Park. Magnificent show, absolutely magnificent, but the best part was, I met the friendliest people. I went to the snack bar to get a sandwich, and on the menu they had shoofly pie! And I said to myself oh holy Moses sandals! I am in the country now!

Absolute five stars, absolutely beautiful, I recommend the Pennsylvania...

I love visiting Macungie when I am in Pennsylvania. The wheels of time car show is one of my favorites. Lots of beautiful "precious metal" to view. I am still upset about an incident that occurred. I purchased a gift item for my grandson from one of the vendors and accidentally left it in the port a potty. I walked over to the table to sanitize my hands and the attendant went in behind me. I remembered the gift item and said I left it in there and she said there was nothing in there. That was because she stole it and hid it under her cleaning rags and supplies. I didn't want to make a scene. I guess she needed it more than my grandson. It is a shame that they employed a liar and a theif as...

It's a very nice park I have attended the annual Wheels Of Time Custom Car Show in August last 4 years. But the show is in a BAD part of the summer August is too HOT to host a car show I would like to see the show's date moved to a cooler month in September after the Labor Day Holiday. Or beginning of MAY when it's not so HOT outside & still have Spring like weather. Or even the beginning of October would be a nice time for a car show not too HOT OR COLD perfect weather for a car show if you ask me. After June it's too HOT to be walking around a car show all day. Just walking around the Wheels Of Time Show I am beat & HOT after about 2 hours & exhausted...

Went to the park for the 8th Annual Backyard Vender Fair. I walked around for a bit and found a girl selling lemonade at her "Lemon Splash" stand. Let me say that it was the best lemonade ever. I had some other food, but none stood out like the lemonade. She mentioned selling at other local fairs. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed.

If the website and the description of events doesn't persuade you to visit at least once then perhaps the pictures I post will! There is something for everyone at M.M.P! Wether it's a foodtruck, big band, carshow, fleamarket, or afternoon dip at the pool... You name it and Macungie Memorial Park probably has it going on!
