Bala Cynwyd Park is a perfect park to bring the kids to, have a picnic in or just for go for a stroll. Situated across from West Laurel Hill Cemetery and along the Bala Cynwyd (pronounced Sin-wood) Heritage Trail with a small parking lot, the park offers a great starting place for a day of local exploration and/or exercise. The park is always spotless (and hemmed in by multi-million dollar mainline homes), has a great playground and basketball, tennis and baseball fields along with seasonal bathrooms and a port-o-potty during the winter. Our kids always love coming here and we enjoy the Ireland-esque architecture and landscaping....

Also a nicely shaded playground. On the outside if the fence is an access way to the Cynwyd trail.
