We booked a Glow in the Dark Zip line for 6 adults, Friday b4 Father’s Day. When we arrived there was an abundance of parking available. We tracked up to the check in Building from parking lot. This is an enormous piece of land that houses several different adventures/activities, *Wear comfy shoes, be prepared *to do some walking on uneven terrain. That should be apparent, but in case ur new to this sort of activity, now u know what to expect. *They offer ur family/friends/group the option to stay grounded & not partake as well. That’s a great option as this is not gonna be for everyone. I previously went zip lining up the poconos & it was a completely different kind of zip lining. On that particular course u climbed a platform full of steps, to the level u wanted to zip from. (Imagine the stairs at water parks that everyone waits on to get to their turn at the top) Once u get up there & zip down, u walk back & did it all over again. It was challenging to climb that many stairs over & over, for a 7 sec ride to the ground. @TREE TRAIL Adventures u will climb the tower of stairs, after being instructed how to use gear, get harnessed & do a test run on a separately staged practice course. Once u get to the top & hook up ur gear to the line, u will zip several hundred feet to another platform that’s attached to next pole. It’s nerve wracking coming in fast & headed str8 @ a giant tree/pole, & trying to stick the landing! *The landing being a small wooden platform large enough to place ur feet on & step up onto the platform surrounding the next tree/pole, then u unclip/Reclip, to next run of line. Ur on ur way from there! That will go on & u will get higher & lower incline thru-out the course. It took 6 of us roughly 3 hrs to complete it all from start/finish. I have some mobility issues & my partner/me are not in our 20’s/30’s. However, saying that our kids are in their 20’s & we’re a little taken back by it all. None of us expected to be on top of the tree canvas the entire time, in the pitch dark, using equipment that was brand new to us & doing an activity we’d yet to do. It’s amazing, I loved it & would say if ur capable of it & not terrified of heights, bugs or flying hundreds of feet in the dark dangling by a carabiner, several dozen times over… JUST GO HAVE FUN, DO SOMETHING UNUSUAL AND MAKE A MEMORY 2 LAST A LIFETIME!! *Dress like ur going hunting for BigFoot & buy /bring gloves u will 100% need them. They sell anything u may forget at the office. *Wear bug spray, ur walking on the tree tops! *CHILL……..U ARE FINE! *There’s nothing someone can’t talk u thru! *I bounced myself back on a few platforms when landing, which sends u back out on the zip-line, towards the middle. *It’s not impossible to overhand walk urself back towards the platform but it was a freakin massive workout! *Don’t get in ur head, take a second to rest, then start working urself back a few inches at a time. Better yet, JUST STICK THE LANDING THEN UR GUCCI! 🦥🌌🔦〰️🪁🪂🧗🏼‍♀️🪝🏕️⛰️🏕️ My families final vote was “I was really mad at u for getting us into this, BUT after we got the idea of what we had to do, it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE FUN” A MEMORY I WOULDN’T CHANGE...

The location is ideal. I had no idea this hidden gem existed so close to home in Trevose. The people were great. Helpful and patient. The trails were really fun, just challenging enough. They have different levels among the adult courses as well so there's something for everyone regardless of how nervous or adventurous you are. I do wish there was just a little bit more for the little kids because it takes longer to do the adult stuff, so the little kids need more to occupy them. So I would not recommend this for someone who is really adventurous and outdoorsy and wants to do all the adult courses but also has small kids. They will yell up at you from the ground continuously about how bored and hungry they are. Once my youngest is old enough to do the adult trails, we'll be right back! I'd also see this as a great friends activity or for birthdays!

So I've had a more well-rounded experience now. We came back when my youngest turned 7. She was able to do the yellow (beginner) trails and she was thrilled to be up so high and get to do something a bit harder than the kid trails. We tried to do a green trail (difficult even for me, but still considered just one stop above beginner) and while my 10-yr-old got through, the younger couldn't make it through. So now I can also speak to my experience having a kid repelled down from the middle of the course! While we were both sad she couldn't continue, the staff were so great about calming her down and coming to 'rescue' her. She understood she was not in danger, and this was not a traumatic experience, but rather, she now knows that at 7, she conquered the yellow trails, which she really wanted to do, and in a year or so, she can come back and try the green trails again. It's something to aspire to! I will say that adults and tall people probably take for granted things that are at our eye level; just because a 7-yr-old CAN reach the wires, it's pretty exhausting pretty early on if you have to reach above your head for everything. THAT SAID, she amazed me at what she was able to accomplish before she just couldn't go any farther. So I love this place for being an adventure we can keep coming back to in order to try to conquer one more trail each year. My ten-yr-old will attempt a black or blue trail next year, and I always love it, so we're...

Today was one of the most enjoyable days I ever had. We hosted my turning 8yo and my husband's bday at TreeTrails. They provided wagons to luge 100 beverages to the picnic grove (shade is excellent). I had ice, cup cakes the works and 3 wagons got it to the right spot. Once of our spectators is disabled. They drove her in a ATV. Big smiles!! They gave a large group (25+ people) a practical lesson and trial class. It was so confusing but he kept explaining and used language children and ESL guests could understand. The practice course was hard but 7yos did it and we all passed. The climb began after checking in within an AC office. You are weighed but it's at the counter like a step stool and it's not shown. They prevented me from peaking lol. We all started on the same platforms and had 4 directions to go. It was a tad like mini golf with a small party behind us but they were lovely. One child feel and knocked off her sneaker. She panicked. She is young but already over 5"8. This teeny person helped her scoot backwards to the platform. Later she tried again and succeeded!. Every parent is bombing us with bday pics. Only 1 no show and all kids got a BOGO pass. We had a blast. I even participated and shouting about the pizza delivery from the tree. They carried it down for us and fridged the cupcakes. It was 96 today and kids got water bottles like bag ones that clipped on. They also had water stations at certain platforms with misting fans. I've never seen grown men and kids laugh so much. The courage, the confidence building and sheer excitement. A few spectators and one brave man in cargo shorts took great pics. We got a million thanks but thank you and thank you for treating our guests so well. We laughed, cheered, celebrated, encouraged. It was by far the best experience let alone combo birthday party ever. It's not cheap however my hubs saved up. I wondered why I only knew half the guest list lol all work buddies. We had a fantastic time. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful, Injury free experience. I did find the first green easy but the other one (facing platform and to the right) was mad hard or jelly arms. I was leaping across like nothing then suddenly I'm using muscle I didn't know I had. It was amazing for a special birthday party. My husband had a smile day...
