Been down here all summer and most weekends since I was 14yo.(1980) I has changed some, the new terminal building was needed and looks and functions great. Fireworks on the 4th are like my Christmas, I look forward to it yearly. The ambience off the back deck on an easy chair make it a 5 star show. Minus the litter the crowd dumps, it is a fantastic event. (Trash cans on every corner slobs) One year the works didn't go off till 2245, the crowd was unruly understandably. The reason, the concert wasnt done and the DRBA couldn't interrupt her. (Reba?) UPDATE: Two brand new, large portable toilets were delivered in late...

It gets packed easily since it’s so nice. Lots of boats go in and out of the canal as well during the summer. Saw some dolphin today! There’s a bathroom down the road that’s open to the public but there’s not one directly at the park itself. There’s no playground either, I’ve been coming here as a kid, never seen one. I’ve seen people bring their dogs too, but keep...
