Went to Miami Beach at dusk/sunset. What a perfect time! As you can see, this area offers a beautiful scenic sunset. The sun just glistens off of the pools of water speckled all throughout the beachhead. This area is very calm and quiet. Bring some chairs and hang out and take it in. Use some bug spray because little mosquitoes will be out and ready, especially near the grassy areas. Welcome to Miami Beach without having to venture to Florida.

A very nice walking/exploration beach. Pet-friendly and mostly locals use it. Horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, birds, tide pools, rocks, seagrass, driftwood galore. Not conducive to laying out and swimming, but still beautiful in its own right

A very nice walking/exploration beach. Pet-friendly and mostly locals use it. Horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, birds, tide pools, rocks, seagrass, driftwood galore. Not conducive to laying out and swimming, but still beautiful in its own right

Low tide equals SO much mud that you sink down into several inches. There were tiny hermit crabs, horseshoe crabs and lots of jelly fish. The water here is not desirable to get into due to the smell...
