Luther Britt Park — Attraction in Lumberton

There are No Bathrooms for People since the flood which was 6 months ago and they still have not been fixed WHY??? Surely the city has enough money to fix these public restrooms and the portable toilets are so nasty I would never use them. Even blowflies in them The grounds around the bathrooms have not been raked in a very long time them sweetgum balls are all over the ground and be careful or you will be broke your leg or ankle And another major issue is NO PATROL ESPECIALLY AFTER 3.00pm I am suprise someone has not been killed or Robbed over there I visit and you never seen no workers out of a evening I am scared to even get out of my car All kinds of not my kind of people walking around It is an unsafe place and you better have you something to protect yourself And another problem the trash can was running over and flies all over the trash This park has went down And the Director of this park should do his job and get this mess straighten out It a beautiful place just to let it go to the dogs And if you don't believe me go look for yourself There is a lot of people I know that have said the same thing that I said...

The experience there was not the best one. We did a memorial service with out of town guest who drove 2 hours plus to attend. It was very embarrassing to find the shelter we used filthy,no running water in the bathrooms, or water at the shelter to wash down the messy sitting area. For the price paid to use the shelter it should have been cleaner as well as water. Guests had to find places that would allow them to use their bathrooms. A portal toilet was not the solution. It wasn't cleaned as well. I couldn't believe that it wasn't prepared properly for visitors to...

Excellent place to go and explore!!! Great for all ages and just absolutely peaceful and gorgeous!! It's a little hidden gem and so very unexpected!!! I was so pleasantly surprised and truly wondered how I didn't already know of its existence! You can walk, explore, fish, or swim! There are little play areas with swing sets and jungle gyms!
