DEL Banquet Hall — Attraction in Lynwood

My sister just had a wedding in this banquet hall, and it was a real disappointment😮‍💨, when she booked the place 2 years ago before the pandemic the manager was really nice and very helpful so we thought, a new management came in saying that the person that was managing before was still from them or something and that doing things wrong ,everything started going down the hill with this rude and unethical management, they started by not respecting the contract my sister has signed and going up on there price, we wanted the wedding to be on the patio because she had the view of her wedding been under the stars, we paid the rest of money they requested because the date was too close to the event already, on the day of the event this management where very rude from the beginning starting where the flower people calling us to let us know that they couldn't put the center pieces on the table because the table clothes wasn't put on yet, when we call call to the banquet people know they responded very rude like is not our problem, I had to out to make sure the table clothes was going to be be put on the tables on time, and when I arrived they was ignoring our request i started doing it myself😐, second was the electric problem they didn't wanted us to get the power from the inside the hall they was trying to say that was responsible for bringing generators for our own power 😐 when we paid over $15 grand for this place and one of them told the DJ that we had make the party outside because we couldn't afford to pay for the indoor hall a total lie because it was the same price that they charge to do the party indoors,literally the DJ had to figure out how to work the electricity themselves because there electrician never showed up, them they closed the gates and allot of our guest couldn't get in some of them very important Padrinos it was really sad, the hole time the newly weds was stressing out , and ended up by saying it was o ly 2 drinks per guest when we brought all the alcohol ourselves and all the drinks, they really did their best to make us have a very stressed wedding celebration , I will never recommend this place to anyone else, they are very rude, problematic management not at you're service at all event if she said I'll be here if you need anything, not what they sell at all If I could I would have given the -1 stars. We had the pleasure of hosting our daughter’s Sweet 16 here September 27, 2024. This venue can host up to 300 guests comfortably, and features a stage for live entertainment / music, valet parking, security, waitresses/ waiters, an upstairs lounge, dj and beautiful chandelier. Packages can be upgraded or modified if desired at an additional cost. Their staff is professional, experienced and highly efficient. They also provide trusted vendors if needed for almost anything you may be interested in purchasing or renting. They guide you through the whole process and made the coordinating smooth and stress free. The food menu is diverse and delicious as that was one of the main things we were looking for. Overall this venue was the best choice for what we were looking for and would book with them for future events. I recently went to a quinceanera here although it was a semi nice descent place the venue was SUPER HOT!! On a super hot summer day The AC was not working I was told that they had turned it on but still we didn’t feel a thing, the workers there specially some lady with red hair named VIVIAN who was the coordinator was super rude and very unprofessional we saw how she spoke to my sister, Also not sure why the security guards pat down the guests were not random people were family we shouldn’t be getting checked like if we were attending a club or a bar this is a family party!! I would not recommend this place unless they change management!! Give it zero stars! Plus be aware this hall is next to a women’s jail we should of done our homework before letting her book this place too much money thrown for horrible service and hot venue and location!
