We stopped here as part of a school trip (ages 5th grade+chaperones). Our group had a great time at the show. Our side was on team red and the kids kept raving the whole time about one of our lumberjacks, whom they deemed āmustacheā (if I remember correctly, I believe they were talking about Owen). I liked how we got to see a bit of everything, it was a nice variety. I was expecting about maybe 3 events, but they did several! I never knew there were so many different things they had to be skilled in. We all definitely learned something, and I feel like the show was long enough to educate without losing their attention spans. The only thing I would suggest is to lose the joke the one guy made about someoneās ex girlfriend having a unibrow. I thought to myself that sounded kind of hurtful, but then it stuck with me more when I actually heard the girl students behind me saying they thought it was mean and unhinged, so Iām saying something because others see it as distasteful as well. OVERALL though, we had a great time, Iām not mad about one little joke, I would recommend a trip here if you are passing by! The kids all got to meet and talk to the lumberjacks after the show, and get their signatures. They made sure to give everyone their time and not just rush us along. As excited as kids are we did get shoved back in the crowd after waiting, but one lumberjack noticed and pulled my son up closer and talked to him and thanked him for his patience. We did quite a few things on this trip, and he said this show was one of his favorites! Great memories š...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese are absolutely wonderful people. Starting with Dan, Bethany, & all the lumberjacks from this main location, down to where I met others in Wyandotte at the fire & flannels show a few years back.
Dan went above and beyond to help me make up for the weather last September when it was rained out downstate. So I made it a point to see them in person to make up for last September.
I canāt say enough kind things about them all.
The first pic on the left was from today, July 3rd. The second pic on the right was from 2021 when my 2 guys were littleā¦.. they made it super special for my guys in Wyandotte when we first met them, then made it phenomenal seeing them in person.
I am very appreciative for them all!! I was also impressed with the quality of the t-shirts they had, plus the reasonable prices for them. $20 for a nice shirt is a STEAL these days! Plus the reasonable price for the show!! Super thankful they allow ages from little ones to 14!!! Holy moly!! Super grateful!!
Support small local businesses - especially ones that are family friendly good people like these!!
Special Thanks to Dan for making Jakeās birthday happy & definitely redeemed my mommaās heart from when it got rained out downstate last year. Iām forever grateful.
You guys ROCK!!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a MUST DO attraction! First off, the staff is awesome. We stopped in before they were open and Dan happened to see us enter the parking lot and came over and allowed us to purchase tickets and even gave us a coupon to save a couple of bucks. You can't beat the price, about the same as lunch at McDonalds and far more rewarding. I express some concerns to Dan about my wife's health issues and he walked me into the arena and allowed me to see if she was capable (which she was) and even saved us some seats. The show is fun, awesome and educational. I will never complain about splitting my firewood again! We tend to take it for granted how hard and dangerous life was in the earlier part of America. The show offers several skills such as log rolling, axe throwing, pole climbing, spring board and many others. There is a lot of comedy mixed in as well. The crowd is separated into 2 camps so that each can cheer on their lumberjack and boo the other. Children were also incorporated into the show. We enjoyed it so much we will probably go again this labor day weekend. They do have a concession stand with snacks and souvenirs. I bought my wife a small bear which all three men signed. Thank you guys for a night I will...
