Clifty Falls State Park Nature Center — Attraction in Madison

A fun nature center. We always like to stop by these are various parks. The bird viewing area was fun, tons of available information about the birds you could see. The rest of the museum park of the nature center was interactive with giant wooden puzzles, spy glasses, live animals like turtles and snakes. There is a 3D model scale map of the park and model of the Clifty falls.

Behind the nature center was a path to a tower. Only issue is that the trees are so tall you can’t see much once you are up in it, otherwise it could have been way neater.

Scenic yet challenging trails. The park has on site camping as well as an inn, play areas, and a nice sized pool with changing facilities. The nature center is well kept and informative. Roads through the park are in excellent condition. The staff member who greeted us was very helpful...

Nice free State Park nature center. Nice bird sanctuary viewing area to sit and relax. Reptiles, educational activities including fossils, tree identification, fur identification, books,...
