Update: As of February 2016 this beach has become unswimable due to the El Nino hitting this area hard. There are too many boulders and jagged rocks to swim. Still a nice beach though!
This is our go-to beach! Love it, and such a short walk to matador to see their famous rock formations. It's quieter than most beaches, as its a pain to actually get there. Even so, I find it much more enjoyable than staying on matadors main beach. Lot less kids, and more intimate. This beach has no restrooms, and very little shade. It does have these really cute sitting chairs...
Read morePretty because it's small, clean and calm, everyone minds their business, but don't recommend for family/ friend outings. It's only accessible through stairs that are steep and outdated/ not taken care of. I slipped down the stairs and tore a nail off, a bystander helped me up and let me know he'd fallen from the stairs previously too. It's a nice beach if you want to go down and sit alone but make sure to wear covered shoes with good grip (: also, parking is free yet...
