Beautiful place. The hike is fun and adventurous. There are several routes to climb up based on individual fitness level. Depending on how much of an adventure junkie you are you can climb the cliff with grapple, hook ans rope; take the route through narrow climb wedged between rocks; or take the family friendly paved route for all. No matter the route up the cliff, once on top the view is breath taking and literally puts you on top of the world (err cliff😉).

We spotted whales and seals along with the common visitors like gulls, cormorants, sand papers and pelicans. Your kids will love it. You can Kindle the romance with your partner. Go sit there side by side. Sit on the sand or sit on cliff, and seal your love with a kiss at the magnificent backdrop of sunset.

You'd love it....

I left a part of my heart on that cove and with that humpback whale that came to take my breath away and exhilerate me. Not 1, but 2 humpback whales migrating south or searching for food passes by breaking through the top of the ocean and slamming back in. What an amazing breathtaking rare and once in a lifetime experience. Also had 1 sea lion and 1 seal visit us as well. The seal came right up to waist deep water and you could see him from the base of his neck to his head just staring at us. What a blessing to have gotten to experience that. What an amazing pirate's treasure and...

Amazing beach! When I saw it I couldn’t believe that it’s true! Such a hidden gem😍 It’s pretty easy accessible but a short hike is required. We climbed there after we parked at Point Dume state beach. Actually found this one accidentally, maybe that’s why it felt so special🤪Anyways highly recommend! The view from above is incredibly gorgeous too💛

Rock climbing cliff, with a nice small cove. Great for photos. Cliff front side has around 4 routes, and back side has around 3 routes? Many people stroll up the cliff and down the cove for engagement/wedding photos. Parking costs. Come early if want a climbing route, or people are nice and can share.
