A wonderful hike and a great way to spend a day. Still some snow and ice in June, but not much. There is a good bit of steep grades on this hike, take your time. The lower lake does have a lot of mosquitos so go prepared. The trail is also easy to lose on the way to the lower lake, be careful. It took me about 6 hours to complete. The trail was a little icy at this time of year (October), so be careful.

Bring plenty of snacks, water, and hiking boots.

10/10...

We hiked all the way around both lakes. We left the upper lake and climbed up a granite slab and descended to some steep granite instead of following the trails. We returned via the traditional...
