This is a very special place. There's so much to see and do. You'll never want to leave. Please remembr to STAY on the TRAIL. It's hard to watch people walking across the meadows or just walking around to get selfies.

There is definitely no shortage of Trails in Tuolumne that's for sure. If you have a free day I'd recommend checking out Elizabeth Lake, It's not a long hike, but it's at a high elevation and the trail climbs steadily for the first mile. But it gets easier and the view keeps getting better. It's about 4.6 miles round trip. Bring a lunch, a swim suit and...

Nature at its best! Accessible only when the Tioga Pass is open during summer months. There is some shade but not much so not suitable for young kids in my opinion although you can do small hikes with babies in the wooded areas. Looks like the meadows won’t be meadows for much longer though as climate change dries up the grassland making room for more pine trees to grow. Yesterday when I visited they were actually cutting down the trees on purpose to keep them from...

Stayed here for a few nights in the fall and absolutely loved it. I wish I could live there forever. It's got some amazing hike trails and some great views. You just can't beat waking up to the amazing smell of pine in the morning this entire park is stunning, but this part of the park gets a little less attention, fortunately for some of us, that's a good thing since the park feels more open when you're not hiking with crowds of...

This is a very special place. There's so much to see and do. You'll never want to leave. Please remembr to STAY on the TRAIL.
