Stonewall Park — Attraction in Manassas

The park is great for me and my family. It is a close walk, and they have two parks and a nice-ish outside pool.

As for the pool, the interior of the locker room is a little dingy. There are spider webs in the shower, and the paint looks old. Other than cosmetic stuff, the pool is in good shape.

The pool gets busy on the weekends, so expect to get here early in the day for good seating. For a public pool, it is clean and it looks like some care and attention is used.

The park could probably use a little TLC. The swings nearest to the pool squeak loudly, so bring headphones if your kids like to swing.

A lot of families have BBQs in the pavilion area, and during the winter soccer is played on the courts well into the night. Overall, it is a well used park.

The features of this park really do deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, the city has been lacking in their maintenance and upkeep, and the wonderful facility is beginning to deteriorate, hence the reason for the 4 stars. It's a beautiful park with much to do and see. My family and I are thankful that we have this in our community. The park itself is nice enough. It has a nice sized pavillion and playground as well as basketball courts, although why the restrooms weren't open on a beautiful fall day is questionable ... but our experience renting the pavillion was less than ideal. Someone(a renter) actually came up during our party to tell us we better make sure we were done tearing down at exactly a certain time.
