1 Star Review. Pickle ball is a fun sport. So much so that I wanted to include my family in the sport over our Thanksgiving break. I had called Manassas Park Community Center since we were visiting the area and had asked if it would be a problem bringing 7-10 people with me who didn’t know the game- Dawn said no problem! They even have the wooden paddles, balls, nets. I thought wow- what a jackpot. We went and what a disaster. The person in charge is BONNIE- and she is very passive aggressive. BONNIE even tried to sabotage us using the facility paddles, almost getting in the middle physically so that they would not give us paddies. We had to go to the front desk for their assistance with this- as Bonnie didn’t want us to use them. Even though they had around 30 paddles. BONNIE did not welcome us and got hung up on us setting up a net for three people instead of four. No one needed the court or our space- BONNIE was just being a nasty old lady. BONNIE was very cruel to my family and had such bad energy. Even the regular people that go and play pickle ball said how “Everyone has their own Bonnie story”. Bonnie should be ashamed of herself- this is a game that people come to have fun- not to be tortured every step of the way. We were new to this gym and very excited to come to- we didn’t know all the ins and outs- but after meeting this horrible leader - we def won’t be back. We asked for our money back and Dawn wouldn’t refund us.

Great price, it is $5 per family for non residents. Good place for daily walks, nice play grounds, basketball & baseball courts, and a dog park. Indoor swimming pool. Kids activities. No portable restrooms so the only restroom is inside the community center. Beautiful green areas and shadows. Perfect for a sunny day picnics. Few setting areas Make sure to bring mosquito spray and portable chairs if you can NOT set on the ground.

A comprehensive community center for Manassas residents at all ages, including recreational facilities; gym, pool, after school classes. It’s planned to arrange tour trips and special program for senior citizens. You can enjoy from services provided by friendly and responsive staff.

I am so upset at the mpcc, My family and I have been members of this community center for almost 5 years! My renewal was up this past may 23th 2019 however since I am going to be out of state for two months I decided not to renew my contract and just renew once I came back and if anything just pay the daily fee if I wanted to use the center. Today May 30th I decided to go to the center and just pay the daily pass to play PB but to my surprise I was told that not only did I had to pay for my daily pass but also pay for my 4 year old son, I told the front desk that he was only going to be sitting in the bleachers and they said it didn’t matter he still had to pay the daily pass, like really? Just for sitting at the bleachers while I play ( witch he has done for the past year, but I guess they are charging for the oxygen my son would’ve breath while sitting in the bleachers) what upsets me the most is that I dont see them charging this fee to OTHER people but I guess the front desk is selective on who they charge or not, guess this is how they treat a faithful memeber. Never again will I spend another penny in...

one of the Hispanic secretaries who wears glasses who is on the morning shift, she doesn't like to speak Spanish, she doesn't care that people who don't speak English arrive, she provides a very bad service, she is arrogant, believing that she can do whatever she wants with the people who humbly ask for information, as if they were not paid a fair salary for their work, as if they were working for free, when people leave in front of them she begins to mutter to herself and say derogatory things, she offers her work with a bad attitude, and she even looks down on her own colleagues, making them look like they don't know anything and that she is better than everyone at everything. In my opinion, people like this should not work in a position like that, where a lot of kindness and patience are required with the people who come to ask for information or to register their children for classes, since it gives a very bad presentation of the place, when she She is not forced to be there, she is there because she is paid a salary, a salary that comes from the same people she treats badly when they come...
