Bunny's Superette — Attraction in Manchester

Bunny's has been a staple to the city of Manchester for as long as I can remember. I would often go there to pick up a cup of coffee, a newspaper and maybe something else. It is often packed when I go and have to wait in line for indecisive people to buy their $100+ worth of lottery. The cashiers always look like they have something better to do and constantly have a bad look on their faces, and they are often very short with me. I would go there for food but the milk is always a couple days before the expired date and the meat I take home is often bad and smells horrible. It is a small store and do they have the help; why no one notices this I have no idea. The store is stocked, to an extent but seems to be never faced and reminds me of a store in the inner cities of the Bronx that don't care and just have the items there until they run out. The beer isn't priced so when they change the price I am supposed to be surprised at the register when it goes up $1. I know they make enough money to serve and better these issues but I don't think the new owner seems to care. Hire some new people and work on these issues! I'm sick of buying old food and over...

They are very friendly at Bunny's, but the place could use a serious cleaning. The prices were a little high on some things but the main thing is, as soon as you walk in the door there is a smell that almost knocks you down. The store definitely needs a serious cleaning and maybe some paint. Maybe that would get that smell out I don't know but that smell has been there for years in years and maybe they're just used to it and don't notice it but it is very pungent. Some of their stuff is good prices, other is overpriced. They don't have much produce. But it is a good store if you live in the North End for convenience. They have most everything. But I would probably still do my primary shopping elsewhere. They have good prices on meats. My other concern is based on how small it is, how quickly does the food turn over, is it as fresh as a larger busier grocery store? They have coffee and stuff for the morning...
