The woman that runs that is rude. I've been there a couple times the last few years waiting for her to get rid of all the trash and get all the good stuff out but she hasn't. I tried to ask a question and she asked me to leave and said she's never rude. I never said she was rude. I never said anything of the kind and she just freaked out.Everything time I've been there, any of my friends or anyone I know, she is so rude to everyone. I asked if she had a problem.....( if I went through one of the boxes). But i couldn't even finish my sentence and she asked me to leave loudly, and kept saying she's never rude, and she doesn't have to take this over and over. I said I was just trying to ask you a question!!! and she said was helping me Exedra (which she wasn't) but that was fine that she wasn't I just needed know the answer to my question. I've never been so embarrassed. I have a business and I couldn't imagine kicking people out.I don't know what her problem is or why she's rude all the time. Anyway there's a lot of other thrift shops that are put together better and everyone's friendly. She can just keep throwing her trash out, and...
Read moreI would give no stars but I had to at least give one. Owner is horribly rude. She stopped my daughter and I at the door as we walked in and said that I “can’t have that in here” while pointing to my service dog. As I tried educating her on proper service dog etiquette she proceeded to just say Whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever and complained about to many fakes out there. I tried educating her on real vs fake service dogs but she wasn’t having it. While I was shopping she even proceeded to complain to someone else about someone being allergic. Doesn’t she know that even though you own your own business, you can’t make up your own rules. You still have to comply with the law! She has a lot to learn about ADA law and better hope she doesn’t get turned in for not being compliant because not allowing a service dog in will be the least of her worries! The place is packed and if someone with a wheelchair tired to move around in there, they couldn’t. Definitely not ADA compliant in more ways than one! I’m being to wonder if they even meet fire codes? I stayed because it’s my right, but wouldn’t buy anything because of...
Read moreIt’s an amazing thrift store. While crowded it feels like a boutique. She sells second hand stuff NOT trying to make a profit, but to pay the storage rent and to help others. She has blessed me and my family and takes my donations to bless others. As with ALL thrift stores, everything changes week to week and so going is an adventure!
I’ve seen some reviews about how stuff always changes and that Theresa won’t get rid of the junk. Um, I’m sorry? It’s a THRIFT STORE. That junk is someone else’s treasure, and if you want something new for nothing then grow up!
Thank you Theresa for everything you do for this...
