I've been coming here for 7+ yrs now and there's a reason! Prompt friendly greeting from Tina or Erik as soon as you walk in. I usually make an appointment, but I've had a few walks in and they work with me to make it happen (never tried in the summer, only winter. I ALWAYS make an appt in the summer). I've been coming in every month or every other month and all you do is call in to schedule an appointment. I've been getting the deluxe pedicure for over a year now. It comes with a 4 step scented package with soaking salt, scrub, butter, and lotion - I choose different scents every time and never had a bad one. You receive a heated neck bean bag and are seated in a message chair. Choose your color then they start with a foot soak. They then trim/shape nails, remove cuticles, remove calluses, scrub your feet and slightly up your leg. Then they use the body butter on your legs added with hot moist towels. They then dip your feet in hot paraffin wax and cover your entire foot. They will let those cool and remove all with a rinse. Then continue with oil and hot stone leg massage and a regular leg/foot massage. Then finish with your color. It's very fancy for what is costs and is completely worth the while (est. 1.5-2hrs with polish drying time)!! My feet stay so soft and beautiful for a very long time. The regular pedicures are just as worth it, just not with all the bells and whistles. I have gotten new staff who are kind of rough with the cuticles - but by the next time I go, they are better trained and have learned from their mistakes. I have gotten regular manicures but my old jobs really messed them up. I will start getting them again here soon now that I can. Every staff member here is incredibly talented and respectful. I will continue to come here for as...
Read moreI called and asked if I could be fit in for a full set and gel pedicure and was able to be accommodated. Manicure was great. When it came time for the pedicure, I was left waiting for 30-40 minutes with no one updating me on when I was going to get service. Ok that's fine, I was a walk in. I put my feet in the pedicure bowl and the man in charge snapped at me to get them out until the water was filled up. Ok?? Pedicure ended up taking a full hour (plus the wait time) and the woman tore up my feet, ripped chunks of skin off my toes until I bled, painted them terribly and I left looking worse than I did when I came in. My two-year-old nephew could have done a better job. I didn't want to be rude so I paid and left but called after to request a refund on the pedicure because this was such a horrible experience. I was told I could get half of my money back because of the time and services that they provided which is fine with me, I should have said something before I left but I will...
Read morePros: •You get 1 free beverage of your choice when receiving service. • its usually not busy so no wait Cons (my experience): •Wax was not hot enough causing the strip not to come off my eyebrow so she had to keep yanking with tweezers and applying baby oil. (Her breath smelled) it took so long I started to get faint. • my fingers where done while my toes where being done, felt like I was being rushed. • Nail chipped/dented within 24 hours. Twice the price of what I paid in Redford with not as good service. • dude throwing my Coach purse around as he pleases and moving it feet away from me...
