Great spot to kite and wing foil. At high ride the depth was about 3-4ft about 20yds from shore then it was 5-7ft after that. At low tide for the first 30 to 40 yards from the shoreline it’s barely a foot deep and about 70 yards from the shoreline about 5 feet deep. I was wing foiling using a 75 cm mast and had no problem hitting the bottom or getting up on the foil. It’s about a mile or so of beach that isn’t very wide, but isn’t crowded with tourists either on the beach at all. It’s not necessary to wear water shoes or booties, however I chose to. When walking out mostly the ground is soft sand with grass, but you never know there could be a shell or rock or something sharp as well.
