Went to the beach, and we had to pay for parking. Paid $12 for 3 hrs.Ā 15 minutes after being there, my wife has to use the restroom. All bathrooms are locked in the middle of the day. 100-150 people at the beach with nowhere to use the restroom.Ā I'm sitting there eating lunch, and 5 women are walking around at the bathroom, trying to figure out where to use the restroom. Employee drives up, and I confront him about bathroom situation.Ā He acted like it was no big deal that 100-150 have nowhere to use the restroom.Ā So we contacted marathon city building 2 different times. Spoke with a lady once and left a message again about getting our money back for parking. Amanda Herrhra, who is responsible for the parking fees, never did call us back. We will dispute the charges with our credit card company. So they want you to pay $5 an hr and if you have to use the restroom.Ā You have to make a 30-minute trip to use the restroom.Ā Marathon, like most government, ran Inc. can't budget their tax revenue, so they have to milk everyone for money to do anything...

Walk around the beach because there definitely are lowered used spots with cleaner water. I came during off season Sept 9 so it wasn't...

The parking was free and abundant and the amenities were nice. Bathrooms, grassy areas, playgrounds, volleyball courts, picnic tables, shaded areas, benches and grills. One note as I read some reviews saying catoring to locals because there is no snack bar? There is 2 grocery stores and a McDonald's 1 mile away (there's also much more fast and other food close by on Rt 1) You do need to pack your lunch or drinks and snacks. ...
