Firefighters Park — Attraction in Margate

Pretty great place. People are pretty nice and most of the time friendly. Never had any issues in the big dogs side, but I do see a lot of drama in the little dogs side every single week, LMAO. If it is not the territorial owners, that treat the place like a gangwar field) is the little vicious things; obviously exaggerating since not all are like that. In the big dog side tho, never had any issues and never had any dogs be aggressive or anything. There are many regulars, like me, who come around the same time on around the same days, and we try to welcome everyone new.

One thing I'll say, they should try and care for the grass more often. Even if it means closing the park for a few weeks every half a year or so, because it gets bad sometimes.

I have been coming to Firefighters Park since my children we're little girls. My oldest daughter now is 19 fixing to turn 20 and they're putting in a new playgrounds at Firefighters Park soon. I stood and watched them tear the old playground out that she played on when she was just a little baby. I walk the walking path many times. I saw this little Park go through a lot of changes. I see that the city of Margate has been improving a lot of the parts. I'm sad to see the old playground go that my daughter once played on but I'm very happy to see the progress and a new playground come in for the Next Generation. This little Park is a beautiful place four friends family children enjoy. Many birthday parties I've done here. I look at this little park and smile it brings a lot of memories to my heart. Straight from my journal entry: Firefighter’s Park is a park in my old neighborhood that has some significance prior to today, and that it was one of the parks my son‘s father used to play basketball at when we were growing up. I remembered it being put together fairly nicely and hoped it had somewhere to walk and it did. It was so teeming with life lol.
