Laurel Park — Attraction in Marietta

Laurel Park is such a beautiful, clean, family oriented, and most importantly safe park. I've been coming here for 10 years and not once have I ever experienced any issues. This park is equipped with a very nice tennis complex. In addition, it has a nice playground for the kids to enjoy, two basketball courts, a nice lake where you'll find ducks, turtles, etc enjoying the sun! As a treat they love for you to bring bread for them to eat and enjoy! There are picnic tables that you can reserve for birthday parties or family cookouts. I primarily come to exercise. This park has a well lit track with markers to help you know the total distance around the track. This park is kind of in my back yard. The Playground areas and bathrooms are usually clean along with the track, tennis courts and huge multi purpose field. Its a great place to have a birthday celebration or just a day at the park with a nice picnic for the little ones. Random Events happen regularly here so if you decide to just hop in the car and go, you may find yourself invited to an event with music and people you don't know offering you their food:) It can get pretty LOUD during some events so living right near this park CAN BE annoying at times but its still a great park. Horriable customer service with Kristi … and David they provided false information in reguards to reserving a pavilion. Nor did they want to issue a refund even though they were in the wrong and provided the wrong information in regards to making a payment and the first come first served bias the park is beautiful yes but I would just go instead of giving these people my money and paying for a reservation just for them to cancel it and not give you your deposit back The very next day that you make your deposit they want the full balance if you don’t pay the full balance they cancel your reservation and don’t issue a refund not worth it!!!!!!
