Alive Events — Attraction in Marlboro Township

We truly can’t say enough good things about Aldo Ryan & Alive Events. Long post ahead, but in short BOOK WITH ALIVE EVENTS 10/10. We met Aldo as the MC at another wedding and from that moment we knew we needed him at our own. My husband (then boyfriend) took Aldo’s business card, promised him that he’d hear from us when we planned our own wedding and kept it until we got engaged. We didn’t shop around for entertainment- we immediately called Aldo & locked him in. Booking with aldo was really the best thing we did for our entire wedding. He made the planning process so easy by breaking it up into 4 meetings where we talked about timeline, details, and overall vibe we wanted at the wedding- he even gave us first dance tips at one of our meetings. It was easy to trust his opinions and expertise & we knew from the first meeting that we’d be in good hands on our wedding day. We got to speak with DJ Jon Divine the day before the wedding (at our request) to confirm we were all on the same page with the plans we had for our reception. He was just as excited to bring the party as Aldo. My husband (who works in hospitality) can have some pretty particular questions and requests and they were more than happy to oblige: including having the saxophonist/DJ learn and collab on a Sax cover of a song he loves- one week before the wedding.

Fast forward to wedding night, Aldo & the entire team brought the energy & kept the party bumping. he was also in constant communication with our Maitre D and Day of Coordinator to ensure things ran smoothly. My favorite thing about our event was that it was the party of all parties- but Aldo always brought it back to remind the guests the reason for the celebration was our marriage. The way he ties in the personalized love story & secret voice recordings filled our room with love and brought the same party loving guests to tears.

While multiple people told us that night how amazing Aldo was- our number one feedback after the wedding was how incredible the entertainment was. Every aspect of our event- from Aldo’s energy, Jon’s dance hits, the live saxophonist & percussionist- was amazing. The special effects were the cherry on top; the custom monogram projection, the cold sparks, smoke machine during our first dance & a surprise for both of us that night- the CO2 blasters that really hyped everyone up.

We are so grateful to Aldo & the entire Alive events team for helping us create our dream wedding. It definitely would not have been the same, in any aspect, without each of them. Without hesitation, the custom package we built was worth every cent & we are looking for more events to host just to be able to have Alive Events be a part...

If you are looking for the best entertainment, honestly Alive Events is the way to go. The second I got engaged, I knew we had to book Aldo Ryan and Alive Events for our wedding. From the moment that we starting working with them, they made it the best experience ever. The attention to detail and amount of customization that went in to our event, not only made my husband and I feel special but our families, bridal party, and ALL of our guests. From beginning to end, they work with you, listen to your vision, and make recommendations/suggestions that you would have never even thought of yourself - like the Flamenco guitarists at our cocktail hour or the string quartet when walking down the aisle. We just watched our wedding video and I have never seen a more packed dance floor! First of all, Aldo Ryan is the jack of all trades. He is the most amazing MC that really knows how to get the party going. He sings, he dances, and truly does it all. Douglas Genuard has the most incredible voice and their energy together is unmatched. The way that Douglas plays the guitar - I had guests video taping all of it!! DJ Legacy is hands down the best. He is literally a magician when it comes to the turntables. He knows EXACTLY what people like and played the most perfect mix for our crowd which included younger guests, older guests, American and Russian guests!! I was initially worried that people wouldn't have fun especially during these times, but I have 3 hours of footage where everyone is straight up dancing, smiling, and having fun. I have never seen my dad dance the way that he did. The energy that Alive Events brings is truly more than I could have ever asked for. The customizations they did for our first dance were so unique and special. I have to say, the saxophonist Ilya Gruzdev was INCREDIBLE. That was the cherry on top. The whole band was just phenomenal - Mia Wallace, Teona, Billy Cliff were just amazing. Also, their energy together really added to the party. Not to mention the sound engineer Dima who made sure that everything was perfect - not one squeak! I am taking the time to write this review because honestly, I want to recommend Alive Events a million times. I told Aldo that my #1 goal for our wedding is for our guests to have fun and they NAILED IT. Hands down - BEST ENTERTAINMENT...

The Alive Events team of MC Pat Soldi, DJ Kevan and dancers Gabby B and Lucy were unbelievable. We worked with Pat on every step of our son’s bar mitzvah, and there was always one constant - if there was a way Pat could improve my son’s party and make our lives easier, he was doing it. We started the process speaking to multiple companies, but there was a warmth and excitement to Pat that set him apart right away. As soon as my son spoke to Pat he only had one question -“ will he be the guy running my party? If so, I want him.” We were novices to the BM experience and Pat walked us through every step. He would tell us what he thought we needed, and just as importantly, what he thought we did not. He spent considerable time really getting to know my son and his likes and dislikes and always made sure that his suggestions were completely in keeping with my son’s sensibilities. He was super knowledgeable about our space and what would and would not work well in it, and thoughtful about what we wanted. There was nothing cookie-cutter about the offering. And whenever we would think of some new unique wrinkle that only made his life’s more complicated but fit with what we had in mind, Pat was not only supportive but so excited to do it. When our swag provider fell through, there was Pat to say no worries - I got you - hooking us up with a new provider who was better than what we were previously getting. And once the party started, Pat and his team were exceptional. Most importantly, my son and his friends told us Pat and his team were hands down the best group from the whole BM season. You would think the kids forgot they even had phones, they were so engaged by the music the games and the dancers. Nothing felt forced or cheesy - rather, the whole team’s energy and excitement kept the kids engaged for the whole 5 hours. Pat and Kevan also made sure to play all the songs that were requested by us while knowing what would really keep the party moving. And Gabby B and Lucy worked so well with the kids- there was nothing forced - the kids just liked them. Pat MC’d every part of the night, and the party went flawlessly.
