I have been a regular visitor at Banya Marlboro for quite some time and have always had pleasant experiences. However, my recent visit left me disappointed due to the behavior of a new staff member who handles guest check-ins. This individual was rude, intrusive, and lacked basic courtesy when interacting with guests.

One of the major issues I encountered was the staff member frequently interrupting conversations and offering unsolicited advice on tipping. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also made the overall experience uncomfortable. Additionally, I observed that the staff member was not particularly friendly towards children, which further added to the negative experience.

It is unfortunate that such a negative encounter overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable visit. As a result, I am hesitant to return to Banya Marlboro, as I do not wish to have my day ruined by someone who lacks the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service.

While I have had positive experiences at Banya Marlboro in the past, it is crucial for the management to address the issues raised here. Improving customer service and ensuring that all staff members adhere to a high standard of professionalism will greatly enhance the overall experience for guests.

I hope that Banya Marlboro takes this feedback seriously and works towards providing a consistently positive and welcoming environment for all visitors.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Russian Banya in Marlboro, New Jersey, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease.

The facilities at the Russian Banya are impeccable. The traditional Russian sauna, or "banya," was authentically designed and exuded a sense of tranquility. The steam room was spacious and maintained at the perfect temperature, allowing me to fully relax and unwind. The birch branches used for the invigorating "platza" massage were of exceptional quality, enhancing the overall experience.

The staff at the Russian Banya were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I have been coming here on and off for 8 years, just about full time for the last few years. Obviously I love this place. What truly amazed me is that Marlboro Banya saved my dads life.

In December, he was diagnosed with Covid, went unchecked for pneumonia and suffered for about 6 weeks not knowing it (this completely destroyed his lungs). Multiple ER trips, visits to the two best heart and lung facilities near us (Deborah and Penn Medicine) to see top doctors. His lung condition threw his underlying unknown heart problems out of whack, leaking valves now severe, A Fib etc.

One doctor told him his lungs will not improve. He can't have heart surgery without stronger lungs. He is also a huge fan of the banya, so we asked the doctor if he could go and do the steam and sauna and they said as long as it doesn't hurt, then it can't hurt.

We came a couple times a week for a month sometime in March and April of 2022. They went to recheck his lungs and they said they have no idea how, but they are in good enough condition for any surgery. He had the open heart surgery and is making a fantastic recovery. We're hoping this week or next week he will be cleared to come back to the banya.
