Eagles Landing Winery — Attraction in Marquette

Last Saturday, Feb 1, 2025. The owner acted like we were bothering her when we asked for a wine tasting. 6 ladies walked in after us, got all her smiles and conversations, she asked them where they were from, gave them descriptions of each wine. She came over to us, poured our wine, and walked away. We ordered a pizza as soon as we walked in. But by the time the pizza came out, I wish I had not ordered it because I was not impressed with the service, but it was too late so we sat down to eat our pizza. She asked us if we wanted a glass of wine with our pizza. I asked for a glass of strawberry wine and she said “I don’t have a bottle open.” She walked away. I had nothing to drink. She walked over to the other ladies and said “would you like some water?" My jaw dropped to the floor. She was just at our table and knew I had nothing to drink! When we were leaving, she said “do you have plans after this?” My friend said “we’re going to the casino." The owner said “good luck losing all your money.” Who says that??? I will never go...

The lady my dad and I met upon entering the winery was super awesome! We were the only people inside besides the woman (I don’t remember her name but she had blonde hair and glasses). She walked us through a little wine tasting which was the highlight of my day! First time I’d ever been wine tasting. I also don’t typically like most alcohol, especially wines, but Eagles Landing Winery had the best wine I’ve ever tried. My dad and I ended up purchasing 3 bottles. Not a great day at Eagles Landing Winery. For starters we would be charged $7.50 + tax for 7 drops of wine tasting as a "couples tasting". We were then told the wine slushies tasting was on the house but was attempted to be charged another $1 + tax when checking out. We sat down for a charcuterie board platter that took 20 minutes to make for $19.00 + tax and it did not look anything like the one they advertise on facebook at all it did not have any actual fancy charcuterie meat or fruits that were mentioned in the menu just plain old salami meats and nasty cheeses that are not for charcuterie just NOT GOOD AT ALL.
