Very nice, quaint building near the river in Marquette. Decent amount of parking. Upon entry we were greeted. Clean bathroom facilities. Lots of informative brochures highlighting area places to visit. Museum highlights the railway that went through Marquette. Really cool and informative displays done up nicely. Our particular visit there was a Wild West Shootout performance by The Hole In the Sock Gang (check out their Facebook page) at 1 pm, lasting about half an hour. (We learned of their performance from Facebook Events). Performance was held in the grass behind the museum. Plenty of shade to set up your own lawn chair and watch. It was a fun little performance with some education about gun safety thrown in for the younger members of the audience. If you have kids and are in the area, I highly recommend catching their performance. Having kids at these types of events makes it so much more interactive and kids don't hold back! The two at.our performance were so involved with the goings on and just giggled the whole time. Afterwards the performers take a few moments for photos and chit chat. I definitely recommend stopping in to the museum and if you are lucky enough to catch a performance by the Gang. If you deem this review helpful, please...

There were several spots where you could learn about the great flood of 1965. There were also many historical posters and just information on the towns itself. This was a very enjoyable experience and one I would like to repeat again...
