Hidden Valley Park and Hidden Lakes Park are adjacent parks located in the San Francisco East Bay city of Martinez, California. The parks offer hills, trails and two small lakes. There is a 1.4 mile trail that loops around the park along with other trails of various lengths. The hills provide fantastic views of the surrounding area including nearby Mt. Diablo to the east.

This park is a small gem tucked away in between Martinez and Pleasant Hill. It has just been refurbished (2016), with several picnic areas and a children's playground on one side of the park and a new soccer field on the other, near the volleyball court and baseball field. In between is the "hidden" part, a series of small lakes and streams, which has hiking trails and supports a small community of fisherfolk. We saw an otter swimming by the last hike. Don't all come at once, but do stop by and visit!

I grew up at this park, being my grandma lived a block away. Now I take my 2 children here because we live in my grandma's old house. They love this park. Always a bunch of kids to play with, it's always clean and the trails are beautiful! UPDATE MARCH 27, 2022 I find myself at this park when i need to meditate and enjoy the perfection of nature. When i need to sit with myself, this is one of my fav places.

Absolutely disappointing experience — not worth a single dollar!

Don’t even bother renting this park. They have the nerve to charge $300 for non-residents, which is insanely overpriced for what you get. The park was dirty and unkempt, and we actually had to clean the area ourselves before our event — how ridiculous is that after paying so much?

To make things worse, there were no electrical outlets, the restrooms were disgusting and smelled awful, and it was obvious that no maintenance had been done for ages.

If you’re going to charge $300, at least make the place worth it! This park is all hype and zero quality. I’m beyond disappointed and will never, ever rent this park again. Total waste of...

I like to walk and meditate, have a nice quiet time to myself so I can think about things...... well, not here. There are children always screaming and yelling which I can hear from every corner of the park. When I find a spot that I can be alone, someone always has to walk by and talk to me when I don't want them to. Very irritating. I have to stop by at midnight or 1:00am so as to avoid other human sounds. And you can also hear highway 4 and highway 680...
