This is a really lovely park. It's tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, so it isn't usually busy. It does get very busy around lunchtime on the weekends because the picnic areas are very popular places for children's parties and barbecues. There are many large covered picnic areas that are reservable and they all have barbecue grills, trash cans and recycle cans. The best part of this park is the playground. It's a really well designed setup with a smaller structure for the little kids and a bigger one for the bigger kids. There are also big kid swings and little kid swings. There are plenty of picnic areas to choose from with BBQ pits WITH shade.
Small enough that whoever you invite can find you and won't spend 10 minutes waving your hand yelling into the phone "do you see me?!?"
The park itself is clean and doesn't feel like someone has been living in the bushes.

Large grassy areas, covered places for parties and gatherings, a couple of tennis courts with lights, a ball field that is also great for playing fetch with your pup!
