This is strictly based on the the park itself, not the swimming pool or mini golf.
I think this is one of the best parks in the area for children, and I do really enjoy how there are multiple playgrounds spread out over the entire park and lots of benches for parents to sit. There is also a pavillion if you'd like to have a meal or a smaller party (I'm not sure how that works exactly, if it needs to be reserved or its first come first serve). But be warned that there are parts of the playground that sorely need an update. Today we visited with my children and saw one swing hanging off the chain, and rusted out other parts of the playground. In my eyes this is already a free local activity so I hate to be picky, especially with this being a bigger park, but I hope one day it's able to be updated. The park itself is very scenic!

Picnic pavilions, a stream with Ducks, playgrounds for children, Mini Golf, great pool. . . It is a pleasant place to visit over and over again, a green gem in a Martinsburg, WV.
This time of year (Mid September), the park is more subdued, quieter. Children have gone back to school, the pool is closed. . .
