Had the absolute worst experience with this place tonight called and placed an order over the phone and my husband went to pick it up. Got home and mind you paid $10 for Aboa queso dip and paid $10 for a salsa and medium chips combo and everything was in the bag, but the chips called back And had the worst customer experience I have ever experienced with a manager. Never have I had a manager call me sweetheart, and tell me it didn’t matter that I would never visit his establishment again I mean honestly I’m gonna call you and I’m gonna lie to you over a dollar bag of chips. No, I was calling to let you know that the chips and the salsa and the queso was actually a meal for someone And now my husband had to run out to the store to grab chips because the manager wanted us to drive the 20 minutes back for a dollar bag of chips. No thank you if I’m driving back to get those chips, you needed to remake all of my food so that it was hot and fresh like you should add the chips in the bag, but instead, he proceeded to ask 50 other people behind him about a bag of chips and kept putting me on hold And then finally got back on the phone and said the person I ended my husband the bag confirm the chips was in the bag. I said OK I said I’m just done with this. I said it’s OK. I said I’ll never visit your establishment again and you have a great night and he proceeded to tell me and screaming in the phone mind you to tell me to have a good night, sweetheart. I don’t care and then slam the phone down. What an amazing manager that is. I didn’t even wanna give this place one star but unfortunately, I had to to leave...
Read moreTerrible! Well my wife and I were going to enjoy a nice evening at a restaurant with an old friend. We decided giving Fiesta Tapatia a try being they are fairly new to the area. My wife was served and friend was also served. After about 25 minutes my food was continued to be forgotten by the OWNER, who was serving us. Discussing how terrible the service was, we also realized that they didn't even provide tortillas for my friends fajitas. He was served frying skillet and nothing to eat it with. We were there a matter of an hour and the food was never served to me at all, and the entire staff stood behind the counter and watched a soccer game. That's where their attention was completely. THEN, when paying for our meals, I addressed the situation to the waiter of not getting food for him To rudely tell me "you pay at the counter". Then I drop the receipt at the counter and tell them I refuse to pay for service I didn't recieve. They looked at me like I was trying to (get a free meal) and rudely left to ask if I was served. When he came back, he seemed very angry and as if I were a problem. I generously grabbed the receipt and wrote in a 0 dollar tip. They didn't offer me the food, a discount, or an Apology! Read moreWe visited Fiesta Tapatia on 3/15/25 around 8:15 PM and were seated at table 36 in the front window area. Upon arrival, we had to wait for the table to be cleaned. After ordering our drinks, we placed our food order about 20 minutes later.
However, things went downhill from there. Another family at table 35, who arrived after us, received their meals within 30 minutes, while we continued to wait. Our waitress assured us that our food was coming, but by 9:30 PM, we had to go to the front to inquire about our order. The waiter then explained that some dishes take longer to prepare, but considering we had been waiting for over an hour, this explanation didn’t hold up.
When we expressed our frustration, the waiter became defensive. We waited an additional 15 minutes before our food finally arrived. At that point, we sent it back and requested an adjustment to the check, removing the two adult meals. We stayed while our children ate.
As loyal customers, we would have appreciated honesty if they had simply admitted they forgot our order. Instead, they chose to deflect blame, which was both frustrating and disappointing. To make matters worse, they insisted on charging us for four drinks and two meals without offering any real solution.
Sadly, this experience left us feeling undervalued...
