They have a brand new playground and it's awesome! It was like a pirate ship. The only thing that I don't love about it is that they made the little baby playground area the same thing as half of the bigger kid playground area. It's still a great playground for littler kids but it's the same exact thing as the other playground so I just don't understand why they put two of the same playground in. But it's seriously brand new it has the name of the park engraved on the side, they're a little pirate ships with so many rope climbing areas. I can definitely see this becoming one of the destination playgrounds of Baltimore county this summer.

I am here now! I am enjoying watching the squirrel chases, the birds flying, and the ducks strolling. There was an unidentified animal that crawled from the treeline near the water to graze also. The birds are singing and the wind is blowing. The view is fabulous as the brisk winds blow the currents along. From the area were I am seated, there is water on three sides, hence Cox Point. Their numerous picnic tables and grills are spread across the spacious area. There are three fishing piers and a boat dock. Oh I forgot to mention the playground. It's a well kept Baltimore County secret! Sshhhhusshh! No they didn't pay we to write this!

so I always go to Cox's point to feed the Ducks because it is something that I enjoy and the Ducks are not overly aggressive. However my last visit to the park was somewhat undesirable as I was attacked by mosquitoes and bugs and it was not fun. I also had a hard time fending off the Canadian geese because they are aggressive and wanted to take all of the bread that I brought for the Ducks. also I appreciate that the views of the surrounding area have been opened as deforestation occurred when the county cut down all the trees I would have preferred it to have been left alone but the decks and observation areas are being utilized. my only hope is the next time I go there there will not be so many bugs and that is probably no fault of the County however some type of spray would be appreciated to minimize such nuisances. I hate to be one to complain but I liked the park the way it was before. Hopefully when my church goes there for our picnic I can find beauty in the way it...

The park was clean and lovely the water was clean and there was a very small breeze as I sat there thinking about my life and the next steps to take . I just sat there. Appreciate all the hard work everyone put in to replanting all the plants a I watch the tides come in. I must Just add that I didn't catch a fish but very nice conversation by a nice young man educating us about the plastic, and a plastic island what we are doing to our water and how the generation's to come will have a lot of problems Bec of us and global warming . It's was a pressure and the kids were talking to him and I met another friend his name was Jack I listen to jack given Aron or Andrew some stores that he learned about global warming and with no progress the ice and snow is melting away fast. Thanks Aaron or Andrew Baltimore county water and waste I think that's what department he was from but he knew a lot about it and...

I gave 5 stars as I love the park and have been coming here since I was a kid. (Since the 70s) They are finally doing some much needed updating. They have built a wheelchair accessible pier for fishing as well as rebuilding shore line thanks to the Aquarium in Baltimore City. Hope they continue to improve the park and clean up the loose trash on land and in the water. Particularly around the boat ramp.I will say they also need to post signs about not feeding the ducks bread as it has no nutritional value and just fills them up so they won't feed on beneficial foods. Also May be look into setting up duck feed vending machines like they have at Hershey Park. The money collected can goto...
