WinterPlace Park & Equestrian Center — Attraction in Maryland

A beautiful peaceful hidden gem on the east side of Wicomico county. This park provides something for everyone. There are cross country trails through the woods which wind back to the start. There is also paved walking paths for the not so adventurous. This park provides a playground for kids, and a pavilion with grills is also available to rent for private parties. There are softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and basketball court for use. There are softball tournaments played here so please check with all local events before using the fields. There are also local soccer teams who practice here and they would love to have your child join in. Just ask a coach or parent when they are practicing. There is also a peaceful reflection pond with benches for those who want to enjoy the park that way. This park is open sunrise to sunset all year round. My favorite thing about Winterplace is the walking trails........there are great walking trails at Winterplace back in the wooded area. Our family loves winter place park! We come here to read, play tennis, baseball, soccer, kickball, and basketball.
