A bit of the country in the middle of the suburbs. Trails going around the entire park with a stocked pond near the west side. It also has 2 baseball diamonds. The downside is that the county has allowed the Disc Golf players take over the trails. There are now ugly wooden structures nailed to trees to prevent their discs from going too far; they've built wooden benches in the middle of the trail; some of the players are rude and think no one should be on the trails unless you're playing disc golf. The sad part is that it was just redone to this "modern" park that lacks imagination. The pieces they took out were awesome compared to what they put in. They missed the mark completely on the redo. However, if your going to disc golf or hike it's a 5. Dog friendly environment. Lots of parking. Great trails, lake, creek it's a great way to reconnect to nature in a great location. Hidden gem for sure. Hopefully the city with consider these new style parks and remember kids play with boxes so it just needs to be...

They needed to be separate like at the other parks, not overlapping. The players are sometimes rude, loud, curse and smoke when families are there to enjoy nature. Most of the players are nice and reasonable but some make going to this park terrible....and I blame the county for not thinking about the walkers before building this right on top of our trails. Pros: lots of wildlife when loud players are not scaring them off! Today we saw a ring headed snake,...
